Becoming an orthodonist was something that I decided to do very early in life. I always felt that the importance of a having straight teeth and a wonderful smile mean everything in life. I wore braces for several years during my adolescence and was fortunate enough to have several wonderful mentors who guided my career path toward orthordontics. Now I have the pleasure of helping my patients and seeing their self-esteem and confidence transform as they realize their beautiful smiles.

HaLisha grew up in the small town of Westfield, Pennsylvania (Potter County for those of you that are familiar with northern PA) where, she felt she never quite fit in and always felt there were greater things to do and places to see. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Business
Administration and one in Applied Science. Following graduation she spent nearly eight years working for The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania as well as The Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. After moving to Mooresville, North Carolina in May of 2012 she decided to take a leap of faith and venture into a field that was unknown to her, Orthodontics! She joined Dr. Saks and his team in July of 2012 as a scheduling coordinator, has held several positions and now wear several hats holding the titles Finance/Insurance Coordinator and Front Desk Supervisor. In her free time, she enjoys jet skiing, relaxing on the lake, anything outside and making candles. In 2002 she began a small candle business called Primitives, which she still supports but is now called HM Candle Co.
LO has been with Team Saks for over 3 years. She is the Treatment Coordinator as well as the Clinical Coordinator. LO has been in the Orthodontic Field as a Technician for 16 years. She has lived in North Carolina for almost 4 years and comes to us from California. In her free time she enjoys being with her family, playing with her puppies Teddy & Nash, going on the lake with family, taking pictures and spending time with her best friends. Some of her favorites are country music, Starbucks, going to concerts, snowboarding, Fall (Halloween) and of course Christmas! Her passions in life are her children- Londyn, Lucy and Camden, photography and traveling. The thing Lo loves most about her job is the relationships she has made with patients and their families! She enjoys getting to know each patient and seeing their excitement when they complete treatment.
Jessica is our Administrative Supervisor. She has over twelve years of customer service experience and has worked with Dr. Saks for the last seven years! She can be found ready to assist you with a smile on her face during your visit at Saks Orthodontics all while ensuring that you are provided with an above and beyond experience while interacting with our front desk team! When she is not in the office you can find her outdoors on an adventure! She enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband and their two fur kids. Jessica has a passion for nature and animals. She has experienced first-hand the power of orthodontics and can't wait to help you get started on your journey.
Allison joined the Saks Team in December 2018. She has learned so much and truly loves what she does every day. She feels one of the most rewarding parts of being an Orthodontic Technician is the happiness and appreciation our patients give us for what we do. We enjoy making people more confident in themselves and helping them achieve better bite function. Allison loves being a part of the AWESOME Saks Team. When she is not creating beautiful smiles, she loves spending time with family, friends, and traveling
Ana has been with the Saks Team since March and has been practicing Orthodontics since 2013. She started in a small practice in Statesville. She always knew she wanted to work in dentistry from a very young age. Ana loves making people laugh and creating beautiful smiles. She has a beautiful baby girl that 1-year-old, a dog and got the privilege to marry her best friend and going strong for 2 years. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family. Her family is her number 1. Ana is very passionate about learning new things and lending a hand to whoever needs it. You can also see Ana having fun around the office cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.
Sherry joined the Saks Team in February 2020. She grew up in Asheboro NC and started her Orthodontic career in 1982 after attending the Dental Assisting program at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has two beautiful daughters and seven awesome grandkids. Sherry loves the beach, cooking and gardening.
Pam is one of our Scheduling Coordinators here at Saks Orthodontics. She will be the first smiling face you see when you come into the office. She takes pride in providing our patients a relaxed and comfortable environment so that they always have a positive experience and feel like one of the family. She is originally from Illinois and moved to Mooresville with her husband, Roy, 3 years ago. Along with her three adult daughters and two fur babies Abbylou and Charlie. She enjoys spending time with her family, the beach and going to Disney! Fun Fact: She's a huge Grogu fan!!
Allison, also known as Ally, is one of our scheduling coordinators. She has 4 years of customer service experience and has been with our office since April of 2023. She was born and raised here in Mooresville, NC! Ally has wanted to help patients and make a difference in their lives since she was a young girl. Ally enjoys spending time with her family and her three beautiful dogs, Daisy Mae, Bailey and Peanut. She also enjoys traveling to the beach to relax! She enjoys seeing all the beautiful smiles around the office and being able to guide you into starting your orthodontic journey!
